Our signature Crochet Maintenance is designed to create a clean, long-lasting finish while protecting the integrity of your locs.
At RastamamaLocs, this service can be combined with three different root maintenance methods, depending on your hair type, lifestyle, and desired finish:
Retwist Roots – Ideal for clients who prefer a traditional palm-rolled look with more movement.
Interlocking Roots – A secure, low-maintenance option that lasts longer between appointments.
Crochet Roots Only – Perfect for clients who prefer a natural-looking root with minimal visible parting and maximum durability.
As part of the crochet maintenance, we crochet approximately 1–2 inches down each loc from the new growth. This secures loose hairs and creates a neat, polished finish while maintaining the natural look of your locs.
If your locs require crocheting further down the shaft or throughout the entire length of each loc due to loose hair, unraveling, or previous maintenance, this will require additional time and may incur an additional charge. We will always discuss this with you before starting any extra work, so there are no surprises.
